Also known as Yellow Peach, White Peach, this tomato originated with Elbert S. Carman in 1890 under the name White Peach. This strain came the Wapsipinicon River in northeast Iowa area. It is a heavy producer of 2”+ round fuzzy yellow fruits. Sweet, juicy, with a very well-balanced flavor reminiscent of a honey dew melon with a low acid content. Winner of SSE’s 2006 Heirloom Tomato Tasting. Rot resistant. Indeterminate.
