This is wonderful for a small garden, or to pack more into any garden. This is a very heavy producer, the whole season long. The purple of this variety was developed in France. It turns dark green when cooked. It is stringless and very heavy-bearing over a long season. Pick when 5 or 6 inches long for the best texture and flavor. I am featuring dwarf and smaller veggies this season so that more people might take part in the practice of permaculture.
