If you have any plant in your gardens, you MUST also have some form of Asclepias. These plants are excellent pollinator attractors and are absolutely essential for the lives of the Monarch Butterfly, from larva, to adulthood. It will also attract and sustain other species of butterflies, but it is of paramount importance to the life cycle of the Monarchs. You will also see the occasional hummingbird sipping away.
