Description

To make the dye, you must first dry the henna leaves, then grind them into a powder (can be done in a food processor). Once in powdered form you will need to add lemon juice for it’s acidity. Then add enough water to create a paste form. Henna was at one time banned in Spain, in the 1600th century, due to cultural and political reasons.

You can also use fresh leaves, with lemon juice, to create a thicker paste and different color tone.
