The seeds from this lovely plant have been used for spiritual, medical and consumption purposes since, almost, the beginning of time. It was mentioned as the healer and remedy in the Bible and is described as Melanthion by Hippocrates and Dioscorides and as Gith by Pliny. Pliny said that “It Will Cure Anything But Death.” But again, ALWAYS, check with your Pharmacist (one you deal with for ALL of your medication) before taking this in any quantities, as it could interact with medications that you are currently taking.
