If you have any plant in your gardens, you MUST also have some form of Asclepias. These plants are excellent pollinator attractors and are lifesaver for the Monarch Butterfly in particular. Asclepias incarnata is also used medicinally much like the Tubrosa is, but there is also suspicion that they should not be. he flowers are hermaphrodite (have both male and female organs) and are pollinated by bees, and insects. The plant is self-fertile.
