Angelica Archangelica

Description

Also known as Masterwort, Wild Celery, Holy Ghost. It will grow best in damp soil, in cooler climates. The leaves are green and consist of three parts. It is a bitter herb, and has been used as a warming and invigorating herb for thousands of years, which can aid some disorders and diseases. In Norway it was a protected plant as long ago as a thousand years past, so that it would not be over harvested, and vanish.
